Terms of Service
These terms are the agreement between you and AE Solutions LLC (“we”, “us”) about your use of the game Arrow Puzzle: Tap & Escape (the “App”). By installing or playing the App, you accept them. If you do not accept them, please do not use the App.
The short version
- The App is free to play. You may use it for your own enjoyment, on devices you own.
- The game, its artwork, and its puzzles belong to us. Playing does not make them yours.
- The App shows ads. You can buy the ad-free upgrade to remove the interruptions and receive a one-time hint bonus.
- Purchases are handled by Google Play or the Apple App Store, and refunds go through them.
- Hints, stars, chests, and other in-game items are part of the game. They have no cash value and cannot be exchanged for money.
- Your progress lives on your device. Uninstalling the App erases it, and we cannot get it back.
- Nothing here takes away consumer rights your local law gives you.
1. Who can play
The App is intended for players aged 13 and over. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you should have a parent or guardian read these terms and agree to them on your behalf. If you are a parent or guardian and your child uses the App, you are responsible for their use of it, including any purchase made on your device.
2. Your licence to play
We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and play the App on devices you own or control, for your own personal, non-commercial entertainment. This licence lasts as long as you follow these terms.
Your use of the App is also subject to the rules of the store you installed it from — Google Play or the Apple App Store. If those store rules conflict with these terms, the store rules apply to your relationship with that store.
3. What belongs to us
The App and everything in it — the code, the artwork, the level designs, the Arrow Art pictures, the characters, the music and sound, the name, and the logo — belongs to AE Solutions LLC and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. These terms do not transfer any of it to you.
You are of course welcome to record or stream your own play and share it, including on monetised channels, as long as you do not present the App as your own work and do not use our name or artwork in a way that suggests we endorse you.
4. Fair use of the App
Please do not:
- Copy, sell, rent, sublicense, or redistribute the App or any part of it
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or take the App apart, except to the extent the law says you may
- Modify the App, or use cheats, bots, automation, or modified clients
- Interfere with the App’s normal operation, or with the systems it relies on
- Generate fake ad views or taps, or otherwise interfere with advertising in the App
- Use the App for anything unlawful
5. No account, no user content
The App has no sign-up, no login, and no way to post or share content with other players. Your progress is saved locally on your device, as described in our Privacy Policy.
6. Ads
The App is free because it shows advertising, provided through Google AdMob. By playing the free version you accept that ads will appear.
We do not choose or write the individual ads you see, and we do not control the products or websites they lead to. Any dealings you have with an advertiser are between you and them. If you see an ad in the App that is offensive, misleading, or broken, please tell us and we will report it to Google.
Our Privacy Policy explains what information is involved in serving ads and how to turn off personalized advertising.
7. The ad-free upgrade
The App offers a one-time in-app purchase that removes the ads shown between levels. Here is how it works:
- Who bills you. The purchase is made through Google Play or the Apple App Store using the payment method on your store account. We never see or handle your payment details. The price shown at purchase includes any taxes the store adds for your country.
- What you get. The ads that interrupt you between levels are removed, permanently. You also receive a one-time bonus of 25 hints as a thank you. The optional bonus videos stay available if you want them — those are ads you choose to watch in exchange for a hint, an extra life, or a bigger chest, and the upgrade deliberately leaves that choice with you rather than taking it away. Nothing else about the game changes: the upgrade does not unlock levels or themes, and it does not make puzzles easier.
- Where it applies. The purchase is tied to your store account, not to a single handset. If you reinstall the App, or install it on another device signed in to the same store account, you can restore it from the App’s Settings at no extra cost. It does not carry across from Android to iOS, or the other way, because those are separate store accounts.
- Refunds. Refunds are handled by the store you bought from, under that store’s refund policy, and we cannot issue one directly. If you are in a country whose law gives you a right to cancel or a statutory right to a refund, that right still applies and the store honours it. If you have trouble, contact us and we will help you make the case to the store.
- Changes. We may change the price of the upgrade for future purchases, or stop offering it. That never affects a purchase you have already made.
If we ever add other purchases or subscriptions, we will update these terms to describe them before they go live.
8. In-game items have no real-world value
Hints, shields, chests, stars, streaks, unlocked themes, and collected Arrow Art are features of the game. They are not property, not currency, and have no value outside the App. You cannot sell them, transfer them, or exchange them for money, and we may adjust how they work as the game is updated. If your progress is lost, we are not able to compensate you for items you had collected.
9. Your progress is on your device
All of your progress is saved on your device. There is no cloud save and no account backup. That means:
- Uninstalling the App, clearing its storage, or resetting your device erases your progress permanently
- Progress does not move between devices, or between Android and iOS
- We have no copy of it and cannot restore it, however much we would like to
10. Updates and availability
We may update the App to add features, fix problems, or change how something works. Some updates are required: the App checks whether the version you have is still supported, and if it is not, it will ask you to update before you can carry on playing. This is how we make sure nobody is left on a build with a serious bug.
We may also change, suspend, or discontinue the App or any part of it. We will give reasonable notice where we can, but we may have to act immediately for legal or security reasons. You can stop using the App and uninstall it at any time.
11. If something goes wrong
We build and test the App carefully, and every campaign puzzle is verified to be solvable before it ships. Even so, the App is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent the law allows, we do not give warranties that the App will be uninterrupted or error-free, that it will work on every device, or that it will meet your particular expectations.
Some countries do not allow warranties to be excluded, and give consumers guarantees that cannot be signed away. Nothing in these terms limits those rights. If a legal guarantee applies to you, it applies regardless of what this section says.
12. Limits on our liability
To the maximum extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the App — for example lost progress, lost items, lost time, or loss of data. Where we are liable and the law allows a cap, our total liability to you is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us for the App in the twelve months before the claim, or US$25.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded.
13. Ending this agreement
You can end it at any time by uninstalling the App. We may end it, or suspend your access, if you materially break these terms — for example by cheating, tampering with the App, or interfering with advertising. If we do, your licence stops and you should uninstall the App. Sections about ownership, liability, and governing law survive the end of this agreement.
14. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the App changes. When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page and, for significant changes, publish them before they take effect. Continuing to play after a change means you accept the updated terms. If you do not accept them, please uninstall the App.
15. The law that applies
These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which AE Solutions LLC is organised, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory consumer laws of the country you live in, and you may bring proceedings in your local courts where your law gives you that right. Nothing in this section removes that.
16. If you installed from the Apple App Store
These extra points apply, and are required by Apple:
- This agreement is between you and AE Solutions LLC only, not with Apple. Apple is not responsible for the App or its content.
- Apple has no obligation to provide support or maintenance for the App. Support questions go to us, at the email below.
- If the App fails to conform to any warranty that cannot be disclaimed, you may tell Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price if you paid one. Beyond that refund, Apple has no other warranty obligation for the App.
- Apple is not responsible for handling any claim you have about the App — including product liability, a failure to meet legal requirements, or a claim under consumer protection or privacy law.
- If a third party claims the App infringes their intellectual property, we, not Apple, are responsible for investigating and resolving that claim.
- You confirm you are not located in a country subject to a US Government embargo or designated as a “terrorist supporting” country, and that you are not on any US Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
- Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you.
17. Other bits
- If any part of these terms turns out to be unenforceable, the rest stays in force.
- If we do not enforce something straight away, that does not mean we have given up the right to enforce it later.
- You may not transfer your rights under these terms. We may transfer ours if the App changes hands, and we will say so on this page.
- These terms, together with the Privacy Policy, are the whole agreement between us about the App.
